Voici la réaction de l'entraîneur des U18 R1, Amine Khay, suite à la qualification pour la finale régionale de la Coupe Gambardella 2022.
« Ce fut un match dans un contexte très particulier. Nous effectuons une très belle première période où nous devons mener par au moins trois buts d'écart. Malheureusement, nous rentrons aux vestiaires avec un très court avantage.
Malgré de nombreuses occasions, nous n'avons pas réussi à nous mettre à l'abri. L'adversaire, poussé par un KOP en folie, parvient à égaliser. Nous parvenons ensuite à reprendre l'avantage dans les dix dernières minutes et nous avons géré la fin du match.
Félicitations aux garçons qui ont fait preuve de caractère dans un match où tout était contre nous. On retiendra la qualification pour la finale régionale !
Nous ne pouvons nous reposer, car nous enchaînons dès ce dimanche avec la réception d'Aubervilliers en championnat.
