Les U16 R1 ont lancé leur saison par une victoire sur le terrain de l'AC Boulogne Billancourt sur le score de trois buts à un.
L'entraîneur du groupe U16 A, Ubi Gadegbeku, est revenu sur ce beau succès ;
« On se devait de confirmer nos belles prestations des matchs amicaux, ça été chose faite. On a pas été flamboyant dans le jeu, mais tout le monde a sorti le bleu de travail pour prendre les trois points. Malgré une pléiade d'occasions nettes, nous avons su marquer dans les moments clés du match. On a été solide et discipliné tactiquement. C'est bon de démarrer le championnat par une victoire ! »
